Tracy Lapointe, Physiotherapist, Kinesiologist
Tracy is a physiotherapist at the InnovAction physiotherapy clinic. She is from Campbellton, New Brunswick. After graduating from Sugarloaf Senior High School in 2013, Tracy moved to Montreal to complete her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McGill University. In 2020, she graduated from Ottawa University with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
During her time at McGill University, Tracy completed a research project in the field of exercise psychology. She took special interest in how psychology principles can help clients become more physically active. She also spent two semesters teaching first-year students in the anatomy laboratory at McGill. During her spare time, Tracy enjoys hiking, travelling, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.
Patient education and empowerment are an important part of Tracy’s practice as a physiotherapist. Using both active and passive treatment methods, she does her best to work with clients to provide them with options suited to their needs.
