Claudie Michaud, Registered Dietitian 

Claudie Michaud

Claudie is a registered dietitian at InnovAction physiotherapy. Originally from Val-D ‘Amour, in the Restigouche region, Claudie has obtained a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition). She also completed an internship totaling 1672.5 hours. From a young age, Claudie has known that the field of nutrition was made for her. Her passion for nutrition was fueled by her great interest in food and her desire to help people suffering from health problems related to nutrition. During her university years, Claudie was a student mentor for 2 consecutive years, and she also taught cardio tonus classes at the University's Wellness center. She also partnered with the clinic to share her knowledge through short videos and publications. 

 In her spare time, Claudie enjoys staying active, cooking, and learning more about food and its interaction with the human body. Nutrition is a new science that is constantly improving. Therefore, Claudie does continuous education in order to keep her skills up to date and to share the current evidence with her clients. She is also a member of the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians as a Registered Dietitian. Her approach is to promote healthy eating habits that are sustainable on the long term and to demystifies current eating trends. Her specializations are nutrition for active living, nutritional therapy for skin care and acne, anti-inflammatory nutrition as well as eating disorders in athletes (to come).
